At VENU Africa, we believe events are more than gatherings; they are powerful moments where ideas are shared, cultures are celebrated, and communities are built. Across Africa, thousands of incredible events are created every day. Yet many struggle with poor visibility, low turnout, complex tools, and high ticketing fees. We saw this gap and we decided to fix it. VENU Africa was born to simplify event hosting and amplify event success across the continent.

Our Story
VENU Africa began with a simple but powerful realization: Africa is full of ideas, energy, and creativity, yet many of these ideas struggle because the systems to support them are missing.
We are a team of friends from different academic backgrounds and communities across Africa. Some of us graduated from the University of Port Harcourt, others from Rivers State University. But beyond where we came from, we were united by a shared belief: that our diversity is our strength, and that together we can build solutions that truly work for Africa. We saw event organizers put in the work planning, creating, and investing — only to face low turnout, limited reach, and tools that didn't reflect our reality. So we decided to build something better.
VENU Africa was created to simplify event hosting and give organizers the power to not just create events, but to make them successful. But this is only the beginning. Beyond VENU, we are building something bigger: an ecosystem of products designed to solve real African problems, empower communities, and shape the future of how we live, work, and connect.
As an African adage says, “When spider webs unite, they can tie up a lion.” We believe in the power of collaboration, in the strength of shared vision, and in the future we can build together.
